ugh!

i forgot how much of a pain in the butt it is to get a new computer! i'm frustrated and irritated and blahhhhhhh.

don't get me wrong, i like my new computer. i'm just irritated that things aren't where i put them, that i have to re-install all of my software, remember all of my passwords, and get used to the "newest and greatest" versions of some programs. (iphoto . . . their "upgrades" suck when you are importing from an older version. they might be great to start out with, but they suck when you've already got a library established. i'm having to reorganize, find actual originals, and figure things out . . . again.)

yuck.

and to top it off, i have actual work to do and don't have oodles of time to get everything situated right now.

on the other hand, it is giving me the chance to upgrade some of my older programs that i've been neglecting.

but still, more work than it really should be.
