Love you Bob!
one of the many reasons we decided to have another child is that friends, unfortunately, come and go. they seem to come and go much more often here in Los Alamos than in other places.
G and i met when we were pregnant with Nate and Bob, who are each now 3. (ok, i was near to bursting with Nate at the time.) so they have known each other literally their whole lives. Nate could not possibly love Bob more. and he thinks Michael is a pretty cool kid too, for a little brother. last week Bob and his family officially moved from Los Alamos to unknown parts of Maryland.
personally, i keep looking for G in town. driving or whatever. today Nate has asked for Bob and even Michael 3 times.
how do i keep telling him that they have moved away? i cry just thinking about it. i miss them, too, and they haven't even been gone a week yet!
E, G, Bob and Michael: we love you and miss you terribly. but ultimately, we are very happy for you, too.
