my little girl had quite the ordeal after she was born. we tried to minimize the trauma as much as possible, but it backfired. so here she is with an IV in her arm so the md's could administer a few doses of antibiotics for what turned out to be absolutely nothing.
ultimately, she's ok. she has suffered no major ill effects from the antibiotics or the IV (just minor things).
though in this picture she looks quite cheeky--maybe even to the point of being swollen--but it was taken at a weird angle when she was laying on her side.
