miss willow made her first appearance at 8:39 pm on May 30, 2008. At birth, she weighed 9 lbs 1.4 oz and was 19.75 inches long.
big brother nate is pretty thrilled with his baby sister. he had more of an issue with mama and papa being gone for a couple of days more than with the addition of his sister. but we are headed for another adjustment period after his grandparents go home.
labor with willow lasted 48 hours and contained 2.5 hours of pushing. physically, i am healing pretty well so far. emotionally, i think it might take a bit more time (but more details on that will follow later). despite all the pain, the end result is exactly what we hoped for all along, a healthy, beautiful baby to bring home and love.
willow nurses great and sleeps great, too. we have been really lucky. we are just working on becoming a family.

She's just beautiful Halo! I haven't been able to log onto the yahoo site for some reason, and my emails, as always, are sporadic...so I'm sorry that my congratulations are late. I'm glad that she made it safely and has been a content baby!
We need to see more pictures of Nate....the picture in my mind is one of a toddler with no hair, so it's surprising to see a little boy with such dark hair!
She is beautiful HALO!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you and thankful your pregnancy is finally over with a healthy baby girl to love!
